About ViaCube
ViaCube is a privately-held technology company founded in 2004. We are dedicated to change how people interact with technology and with one another using technology. Our global teams are comprised of computer scientists, mathematicians and networking professionals who are driven to build technology and applications that seamlessly blend digital life with non-digital life – making life simpler, safer and more enjoyable. Our Vision
To create the next generation, digital life operating environment for the Internet.
Our Mission
To provide a digital experience that mimics real life – one that is safe, enjoyable, and consistent across multiple screens and multiple environments.
Here’s what we mean. At a frenetic pace, our lives are becoming controlled, monitored, accessed and managed with technology. Digital devices and services exist to enhance the tiniest aspects of our day, and they do it well. But what happens when they are all performing the same function and your personal information starts spreading all over the place. For example, we have players for our music and video, we have mobile phones for our music, video, contacts, email and text messaging, we have business laptops for our music, video, contacts, email, text messaging and social media, and we have home computers for our music, video, contacts, email, text messaging, social media and all the stuff the kids are doing. Multiply the number of devices you're managing with the number of websites your accessing and what you end up with is digifat – redundancy, complexity and stress managing multiple applications, accounts and services. To solve this problem, ViaCube is building a cloud platform called OpusOS and “access-from-anywhere” applications that provide people a way to manage their whole digital life, not segments that then have to be mashed together to create something “whole.” Here's a simple analogy. In your real life, you wouldn't have a home for your kitchen, a home for your bathroom, a home for your bedroom, a home for your TV, a home for your stereo and a home for your phone would you? In the same way, you shouldn't have separate homes for your digital life either. OpusOS is your digital home. |
